WRITEIMAGE is a corporate communications and copywriting services provider located in Vancouver, BC. We write website content, newsletters, case studies, press releases, blog posts and more.
Here are answers to some of the most common questions we’re asked, especially by new clients:
How can you write about my business if you don’t know my business?
The process is actually pretty simple.
- We talk to you about your business; meeting in person is great, but phone, Skype or email also work just fine.
- Then we read what you’ve already published.
- We look at what your competitors have on their websites and in their marketing materials.
- Throughout the process, we ask you lots of questions.
In the end, we’ll have enough information to write content better than you could have written it yourself — and a lot faster, too.
How much do you charge for your services?
One million dollars! No, just kidding (still there?). The quote you get will depend on about a hundred different variables. For example:
- Are we writing content from scratch or editing something you’ve already written?
- Are you launching a 30-page website or do you just need one newsletter to start?
- How technical is your business? Will we need to use “industry-specific” language?
- Will we need to interview your employees or clients?
- Are you ready to proceed with the project right away or do you need help from our side to plan the scope of the project?
We provide you with a quote per project. The scope and price are shown in the quote. If you give the green light, then you get a contract based on the quote.
No surprises. No cost-overruns. The quote is what it is.
Can I see some writing samples?

Just go to the links in the portfolio to see writing samples for those projects.
Second, if you want to see a particular type of writing sample, it’s usually easier for us to send along some links or PDFs than for you to wade through hundreds of documents, most of which won’t have any relevance to your project.
Bottom line: if you need more writing samples, get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to oblige.
What if I want to expand the scope of the project?
You need a few more pages for the website than you originally wanted? Or maybe you want to put out newsletters once a month instead of quarterly.
No problem. Tell us what you want. We will draw up a new quote. You like it, we get you a new contract to sign. Then we do the extra work. You pay us. Everyone’s happy.
